Orange Tip Butterfly
Saw an orange tip butterfly in the garden this afternoon, and a small pale blue one that I think was a holly blue. That makes four species so far this year, with the peacock and the cabbage white.
There seem to be a few sightings now of Orange Tips. Here in the Tamar Valley we have dampish areas where the pretty Ladys Smock flower thrives and they seem to be well favoured by Orange Tips. It was at one such location yesterday that several of these gorgeous butterflies were spotted.

Great that you got in touch, brian. I think you are my first visitor!
